ELEMENTS OF NATURAL AND BUILT ENVIRONMENTS (ENBE)

ENBE is a major subject in this course which carries 5 credit hours.This module is about two major components which is natural and the built environment.The objectives of this module are to encourage the student to create awareness of the elements of the natural and built environment. Besides, it is also to expose the elements of the natural and built environment in their basic unit, form and function. Moreover, to show symbiotic relationship of the elements of the natural and built environment. This module is lead by Ms Renee and Mr Azim. I had learn a lot of things in this module and gain a lot of knowledge about the built environment which we not only doing building, we have to concern about the environment around us.

This project is to teach us to appreciate nature. To appreciate nature, we will have to notice it , admire it and feel it. The learning outcome of the project is to enable students to identify different elements of nature and to describe different characteristics of nature by exploring them.

Based on this project, It required us to make a small A4 size pamphlet. The learning outcomes of this project is to enable students to initiate ideas on built environment through observation , data collection , evaluation and deliver them by using different media, tools and techniques

​

From this project , my group and I are required to construct ideas on street intervention based on the conducted site study. We have to understand the site potential and issues by travelling to the site first.
